Split screen (or “multitasking”) is an iPad and iPhone Plus function that allows users to open two apps at once. For example, you might want to type a note in the EMR through Mobius while also researching a clinical question on UpToDate.

Opening apps side-by-side also means you can use two Mobius features – like Scribe and Capture – at the same time. Want to dictate notes into the EMR without closing a relevant X-Ray image? No problem – just split the screen and record the note.
How to use split screen
Your iPad or iPhone Plus Dock makes it easy to open two apps at the same time. Simply drag an app from the Dock to the right or left edge of the screen to make a split view.

Appointment ticklers
Providers using athenahealth are already familiar with appointment ticklers. Mobius now supports this function directly in the app on your mobile device. With the latest update all it takes is quick tap in the app and staff will be notified to schedule a follow up appointment.
